Christmas Prayer
By Sister Dorothy Krupp, OSF, Director of Mission & Spiritual Care
December 19, 2015As we gather with our families to celebrate the great Feast of Christmas, may we give thanks for the great gift of God’s Love, His Son Jesus Christ who came into the world to be our light and an example of unconditional love by His reverence for those who came to Him with their burdens. May we be a shining example of that love to others! As we celebrate the holy and joyous Feast of Christmas, I offer you this Christmas Prayer.
A Christmas Prayer
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth, may we begin to see the world in the light of the understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. In this season of giving, may we through our generosity of caring help our less fortunate brothers and sisters. Lord Jesus, you are the Prince of Peace, bestow your blessing of lasting peace upon our broken world. We pray this in your holy name. Amen.
Christmas Blessings!
