1. What does it mean to be a Catholic Hospital?

2. Can I use Trinity Hospital Twin City even if my doctor is from out of town?
Yes, you can use Trinity Health System Twin City Medical Center even if your doctor is from out of town. We have over 400 physicians listed in our database, and we can easily send your lab, imaging, and other test results quickly to your physicians, no matter where his/her office is located.

3. If I have my surgery somewhere else, can I come to your hospital for your Swing Bed Program?
Yes, you can come to Trinity Health System Twin City Medical Center for our Swing Bed Program. Our program can provide skilled rehabilitation for you or someone you love after an accident, prolonged illness or orthopedic surgery. For more information, call (740) 922-7450, ext. 2110.

4. Do I need to bring my insurance card with me every time I come to the hospital?
Yes, you need to bring your card with you every time you come so we can make sure that we have the most recent information in order to bill your insurance company.

5. What if I need help paying my bill?
We aim to keep our services as affordable as possible and have a number of plans in place to help you pay your hospital bill. Please call our patient Financial Counselor, Monday-Friday between 8am and 4:30pm, at (844) 428-7500 to learn more about our financial assistance services. 6. How do I obtain a copy of my medical records?
Here at Trinity Health System Twin City Medical Center, our Medical Records Department protects the privacy and security of your health information. Our Release of Information Specialist is available to assist you with obtaining copies of your medical records for Trinity Health Care System Twin City medical Center, Trinity Medical Group, and all of our satellite facilities. 7. How long of a wait am I going to have if I come to the Emergency Department?
After completing patient registration, the average waiting time in our Emergency Services Department is less than 1 hour compared to the national average wait time of 4 or more hours.

8. Do I need to have an appointment for blood work?
No, you do not need an appointment for blood work unless you are having a glucose or lactose tolerance test done. Phlebotomists are here from 6:00am to 7:00pm daily.

9. How do I make a comment or suggestion?

10. How do I become a volunteer?
Volunteers are currently needed to help staff the lobby information desk, the coffee bar/gift shop and assist with various other tasks as needed within the hospital. Volunteers can work as little as one shift a month. To learn more about our volunteer program, please call (740) 922-7450, ext.2124.

11. Can I get copies of medical records from Twin City Hospital?
Yes, you can. Trinity Health System Twin City Medical Center acquired the assets of Twin City Hospital pursuant to a Sale Order approved by the Bankruptcy Court on May 9, 2011. As part of that transfer, Trinity Health System has agreed to maintain and secure all the patient records that were in the possession, custody and control of Twin City Hospital, except for those Twin City Hospital was not required to retain under law (any that Twin City Hospital was authorized to destroy under law). Trinity Health System Twin City medical Center complies with all the applicable state and federal laws regarding access to patient records and destruction of patient records.
