I am a Family Medicine Physician Assistant for over 30 years. I Have worked in outpatient Family medicine my entire career. Originally from WV. Graduated with BS degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 1992 from Alderson - Broaddus University. Completed my Master's degree in 2010 from the same University. I've lived in the area since 2001, worked in Private Practice, at Lakeland Family Medicine, for over 16 years in New Philadelphia. I'm the proud mom of 2 adult children- Mariah, who is an Ohio State Alumni and Ohio University PA program Alumni and is also a Family Medicine PA practicing in Colorado; and Elijah, who is an Alumni of the University of South Carolina, who has a degree in Environmental Sciences.
Areas of Treatment
I perform all areas of Family Medicine from newborn to geriatric, including acute, chronic and preventive health care.Interests of mine include hiking, bike and exploring the Cuyahoga trails. Small town get away excursions, and sun filled vacation get aways. I enjoy most sports and root for my Favorite Pittsburgh teams always.

Most Rewarding Aspect of Being a Physician
I have the opportunity daily for a glimpse into the window of a strangers life- they share their stories and concerns and we work together as "team-mates" to find solutions, preventions and answers to their life and health challenges. And we grow in time to trusting providers, partners and even friends.
I'm not a great swimmer, despite my daughter being a life guard and a NP swim team captain!!!
