About Benjamin Turner, MD
Dr. Turner is a general surgeon with an
interest in head and neck surgery. On
completing training, he began a four year
tour of many rural and remote hospitals in
Western Canada, before nally settling in
the Ohio Valley. He considers himself a true
general surgeon, with a broad range of
surgical and endoscopic skills and a desire
to contribute however he can in his new
home.
Professional & Post Graduate Education
After attending medical school at the
University of Western Ontario, he completed
general surgery residency and a research
year at the University of Calgary, and
fellowships in head and neck oncology in
Winnipeg and Jacksonville, Florida.
He holds a master's degree in healthcare
ethics from Duquesne, and is a Fellow of the
Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
