In the Pink is designed to combat breast cancer through education, awareness and survivor recognition. The event includes guest speakers, survivor recognition and a walk by candlelight. The In the Pink health fair will take place at the hospital at 819 N. First Street, Dennison. The Walk by Candlelight will begin at about 7 pm at the hospital's main entrance.

In the Pink includes an open house style health and information fair starting at 5:30 pm where attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments, receive a free gift with health information, enjoy the chance to use "pink" props in a photo booth, receive mini health screens from Buckeye Career Center medical assisting class members and their teacher (Candy Fisher), receive a free mini massage (massage services provided by Theresa Graziani, Shelly Stephens, and Stacie Widder),  and learn about breast health and women’s screenings. The health fair also features the chance to sign up to win door prizes.

Starting at about 6 pm, all breast cancer survivors will be recognized with a small gift, and participants will hear from featured speakers including Dr. Walter W. Randolph, III, Board Certified Gynecologist and breast cancer survivors, and tour the hospital's mammography suite.

At about 7 pm, a walk by candlelight will take place around the outside of the hospital building to honor those who are currently battling breast cancer and to remember those who have battled breast cancer.

The In the Pink health event at Trinity Hospital Twin City is being made possible thanks to support from the hospital’s Community Outreach and Imaging Departments.
