Register now to join us for this free support group meeting for those with diabetes and their family/friends who support them. For this month's session, the group will meet at McCluskey Park at Dennison at the shelter near the entrance of the Panhandle Passage Trail. Please bring appropriate shoes for walking, insect repellent, a bottle of water, and an umbrella or raincoat, if needed. In case of inclement weather, the group will meet at the hospital's second floor St. Raphael Conference Room.
The event is open to all members of the family, and McCluskey Park offers plenty of parking, playground equipment, ball courts and more. Participants can enter the park at the intersection of N. 1st and North Streets, which is just a short drive from Rt. 250 (turn right onto North St. off N. 2nd St. if driving from Rt. 250 exit at Dennison).
This group meets on the third Monday of every month for about one hour at the St. Raphael Conference Room at Trinity Hospital Twin City's second floor. The meeting is led by Certified Diabetes Educator, Lu Ann Beavers-Willis, MSN, RN. For more information, call (740) 922-7450, ext. 2177.
