“Over $3,000 Raised at Trinity Hospital Twin City’s Kickball Tournament”

DENNISON—Members of the Trinity Hospital Twin City Employee Auxiliary raised just over $3,000 at their third annual kickball tournament. The fundraiser was held on Saturday, September 26th at the Midvale Park. Eleven co-ed teams, and about 132 participants played in the double elimination tournament. Medals were awarded to the players on the first and second place teams.

                Mathias Landscaping was the winning team, and the players included Josie Busby, Jake Fait, Tiff Fait, Lindzee Hershburger, Aaron Kuntzman, Hunger Madsen, Dustin Mathias, Tonya Moody, Scott Reinerts, and Katie Ward. “Teaching You a Lesson” was the second place, and the players included Alicia Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter, Jeremy Davis, Neeley Davis, Natalie Fockler, J. J. Householder, Taryn Householder, Betty Howard, Chris Miller, Brittany O’Hara, and Derek O’Hara.

                “We really appreciate all the players and sponsors who made our third kickball tournament possible,” shared Josh Maxwell, event chairperson. “This was our biggest kickball tournament yet. We were fortunate to have great weather and be able to have fun while raising money for a great cause.”

                Events sponsors included First National Bank of Dennison, WTUZ Radio, Dennison Railroad Festival, Ember Care, Molly Miller Design, Twin City Pharmacy, Wendy’s, and Twin City Chiropractic.

                All event proceeds will benefit Trinity Hospital Twin City (THTC). The THTC Employee Auxiliary is a committee of hospital employees who volunteer their time outside of normal working hours to help raise funds for the hospital. In the past year, the employee auxiliary has contributed more than $9,000 to assist the hospital with the purchase of medical equipment.
